Atlassian Statuspage alternative

A status page that updates itself from monitoring, instead of one you maintain by hand.

Atlassian Statuspage is a communication tool: you (or an integration) post incidents and it notifies subscribers. It does not monitor anything. PulseTrace's status pages are the other way round — they are driven by monitors and incidents, so the page updates the moment a check fails, and the monitoring comes with it. The trade-off is subscriber management and audience segmentation, where Statuspage is deeper.

Where Atlassian Statuspage is better

  • Subscriber management: email, SMS and webhook subscribers, per-component subscriptions, and large audiences.
  • Private and audience-specific pages for internal or per-customer communication.
  • Deep customisation (custom CSS/HTML/JS on higher tiers) and Atlassian ecosystem integration (Jira, Opsgenie).

Where PulseTrace is better

  • The page is automatic: incidents open and resolve from monitoring, maintenance windows appear on schedule — nobody has to remember to post.
  • Price: a free public page, five pages at $29 and unlimited with a custom domain at $85 — with the monitoring included, versus $29–$1,499 for the page alone.
  • Trust pages add TLS and domain security grades, something no status-page product offers.

Choose Atlassian Statuspage if…

you need subscriber notifications at scale, private or per-audience pages, or you already run monitoring elsewhere and only need the communication layer.

Choose PulseTrace if…

you want the status page to reflect reality without manual posting, you don't have (or want) a separate monitoring bill, or you want to publish security grades alongside uptime.

Questions about switching

Can visitors subscribe to my PulseTrace status page?
Not yet — subscriber notifications are on the roadmap. Today the page is public and updates live; many teams pair it with their existing announcement channel.
Can I keep Statuspage and feed it from PulseTrace?
Yes — PulseTrace's signed webhook can drive a Statuspage incident through their API or an automation platform.
