PulseTrace + Telegram

Deliver PulseTrace alerts to a Telegram chat or group through your own bot. Ideal for on-call engineers who want a push notification on their phone without an incident-management subscription.

Set it up in three steps

  1. 1Create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token. Add the bot to the group (or start a chat with it) and note the chat ID.
  2. 2In PulseTrace, add a destination of type Telegram, paste the bot token and the chat ID. The token is stored encrypted and never shown again.
  3. 3Select the destination on the monitors that should alert it and send a test.
